VN Travels started as a taxi service in Aluva. It grew because guests kept coming back and asking us to arrange the rest of the holiday too. That is still how it works.
Our story
Built on repeat
guests, not adverts.
We began with airport runs and outstation drives out of Aluva — the sort of work where being ten minutes early matters more than anything you can put on a website. Guests started asking us to book the hotel in Munnar too, then the houseboat, then the whole week. VN Holidays is that request, formalised.
We are deliberately small. The person who answers your first message is the person who plans your route and the person you call if a road is blocked at nine at night. Nothing is passed to a call centre, and nothing is quoted that we have not seen ourselves.
Our base in Aluva puts us fifteen minutes from Cochin International Airport and on the road to almost everywhere in the state, which is why so much of what we do begins before sunrise.

From first message to final drop, this is the whole process. No deposits before you have seen a written plan, and no surprises on the last day.

the shape of itDates, how many of you, and how you like to travel — early starts or slow mornings, hotels or plantation stays, one place or five. A WhatsApp message is enough to begin.

We draft a route
and a priceA day-wise itinerary with drive times, suggested stays and one all-in figure covering transport, nights and transfers. Usually the same day you write.

You change
what you likeSwap a hotel, drop a viewpoint, add a night on the water. We redraft until it reads like your holiday, then confirm the bookings and hold them.

We drive it
with youYour driver is briefed on the plan before you land and carries the whole itinerary. If the weather or the mood changes, the day changes with it — one call and it is handled.
What we will not do
No commission stops at shops nobody asked to visit. No four sights crammed into an afternoon. No quote that grows on the last morning.
The team
A short list
of familiar faces.
Nasar Najumudheen runs VN Travels and VN Holidays, and answers the phone more often than not. Behind him is a settled group of drivers we have worked with for years — the same names guests ask for when they come back.
Between them they speak Malayalam, English, Hindi and Tamil, hold commercial licences and tourist permits, and have run the Munnar and Wayanad ghats in every kind of weather Kerala produces. They are also, and this matters more than it should, genuinely good company for four hours in a car.
